Job Summary:
We're seeking a skilled and responsible Ready-Mix Driver to join our team at Cemex. The successful candidate will have a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A or B) and a high school diploma preferred. In addition, they should possess strong communication skills, knowledge of traffic routes, and basic maintenance skills for truck upkeep.
Responsibilities:
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all regulations.
  • Delivery & Timing: Deliver concrete loads to job sites in a timely manner.
  • Discharge Management: Adapt discharge methods to various site settings and conditions.
  • Extension Chute Handling: Attach and manage extension chutes as necessary for precise concrete pouring.
  • Truck Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical soundness of the ready-mix truck.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional image for the company.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with dispatch and other team members for efficient operations.
Estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $75,000 per year.
