The Virginia Museum of History & Culture is seeking a detail-oriented Security Officer to provide security services for its properties. This part-time position offers a salary range of $14 - $16 per hour.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Safeguarding premises and assets through regular patrols and surveillance
  • Monitoring security cameras and alarm systems
  • Responding to security incidents and reporting findings
  • Providing top-notch customer service and support to staff and visitors

To excel in this position, you will need a high school education, computer experience, and the ability to pass and maintain the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services registration for unarmed security officers.
