Senior Access Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Access Associate to join our team in Augusta. As a key member of our oncology services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring seamless scheduling experiences for our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate complex patient scheduling, including record retrieval, follow-up communication, and appointment coordination.
- Serve as the point of contact for patients, referring providers, and Health System departments, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Participate in issue resolution and process improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Clinic Triad team to review schedule changes and ensure they meet clinic needs.
- Accurately complete daily attendance in the scheduling system to ensure high-quality data capture.
- High School Graduate or Equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
- 2 years relevant experience required; Access Associate fully cross-trained to cover multiple specialties will be considered in lieu of the 2 years relevant experience.
- Proficient communicative skills across spoken, writing domains, adequate auditory and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly and compose messages clearly and concisely.
