Certified Nursing Assistant Job Description

The Pavilion at Crescent Lake is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting a safe and supportive environment that fosters their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
  • Assist with ambulation and transfer of residents, using appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
  • Record resident vital signs, weights, and measurements, as well as intake and output, food consumption, and other relevant information.
  • Turn and position residents regularly, monitoring their condition and reporting any changes to the Charge Nurse.
  • Support residents in making choices and promoting their autonomy within the caregiving environment.
  • Participate in collecting data for the MDS and plan of care, providing input to the nurses for development of the plan.
  • Prepare residents for meals, transport them to the dining room, and assist with feeding and hydration as needed.
Requirements:
  • Valid CNA license in the state of Florida.
  • Ability to work in Crescent City.
  • Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
