Automotive Technician

Mavis Tire Supply is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Bel Air, MD area.

As a key member of our undercar repair team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and performing a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles, including brakes, struts and shocks.

Our ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance, and possess an extensive tool box of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose vehicle problems
• Perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts and shocks
• Complete state-mandated inspections
• Change oil and filters, check fluids, and replace worn parts
• Dismount, mount, rotate and balance tires

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance
• Extensive tool box of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs
• State inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) preferred
