Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Avera McKennan Hospital. As a key member of our cardiovascular department, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex echocardiograms, vascular diagnostic testing, stress tests, and EKGs in-house and on Mobile Outreach.
Job SummaryThis full-time position involves performing high-quality imaging procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with heart and vascular conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and complex echocardiograms, vascular diagnostic testing, stress tests, and EKGs
- Maintain accurate records of patient data and imaging results
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved school in a related health field (e.g., Cardiovascular Technology)
- Two to three years of previous ultrasound experience preferred
- ARDMS registered in either Echocardiograms (RDCS) or Vascular Technology (RVT) required
- Competitive salary: $39.70 per hour (based on experience)
