Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As a Registered Nurse - MCU, you will be responsible for providing individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and psychological conditions on an ongoing basis and document relevant information.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Provide education to patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current state registration and BLS certification.
  • Medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
