Job Title: Interventional Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Vascular Interventional and Neuroendovascular physicians and nurses to provide high-quality imaging services. This role requires a strong understanding of multiple imaging modalities, including Fluoro, Ultrasound, CT, and MR, as well as critical thinking skills to assist in emergent cases such as strokes and traumas.

Responsibilities:
  • Image inpatients, outpatients, pediatrics, and intra-operative patients using critical thinking skills.
  • Assist in emergent cases such as strokes and traumas.
  • Work collaboratively with Vascular Interventional and Neuroendovascular physicians and nurses.
  • Use multiple imaging modalities for diagnostic and interventional purposes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years clinical imaging experience required.
  • Interventional radiology experience required.
  • Candidate must be comfortable and experienced with pediatric, neuro, and vascular interventional patient population.
  • Knowledge of sterile technique and preparing trays for procedures.
  • Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.
  • Prior traveler experience highly preferred.
  • Epic experience highly preferred.
Education and Certifications:
  • Certification by appropriate body: ARRT (R) required, ARRT (VI) highly preferred.
  • Wisconsin Radiological License required.
  • BLS - issued by American Heart Association only.
  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.
Work Environment:

Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.

Location:

UW Hospital 600 Highland Avenue, Madison, WI 53792

Shifts:

40 hrs/week, Days, Monday - Friday between 07:00 - 17:00. Ideal candidate will be flexible to departmental needs. No weekends, no call.
