Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver with Visiting Angels, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients by providing non-medical assistance and companionship in their homes.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $35,000 - $45,000, based on experience and location.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to senior clients in their homes
  • Offer hygiene assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Prepare meals and monitor client diets
  • Manage medication schedules and provide reminders
  • Aid with light housekeeping and laundry duties
  • Assist with ambulation and mobility
  • Transport clients to appointments and errands
Requirements
  • Dedication to serving seniors with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to work in a personal, one-on-one care environment
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in private homes or facilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • CNA certification preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license, reliable car, and current insurance
  • Verifiable references from previous employers
  • Ability to pass DMV, background check, and drug screen
