About the Role:
As a Residential Adolescent Habilitation Specialist at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of adolescents with complex behavioral and emotional challenges. Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support and guidance to our residents, helping them to develop essential life skills and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Resident Safety: Develop and implement strategies to ensure the physical and emotional safety of our residents.
- Engage in Daily Activities: Participate in daily activities such as ADLs, recreational, and social activities with residents, promoting their engagement and participation.
- Redirect Inappropriate Behavior: Develop and implement strategies to redirect and manage challenging behaviors, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
- Implement Treatment Plans: Work closely with the treatment team to implement individualized treatment plans, promoting resident progress and achievement of goals.
