Phlebotomy Specialist

At Pomerene Hospital, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Outreach Phlebotomist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ordering lab tests, drawing blood, retrieving lab specimens, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform phlebotomy duties in a hospital setting, adhering to hospital and department policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive relationship with customers and develop a positive perception of the hospital.
• Follow safety protocols and demonstrate commitment to Pomerene Hospital's Values.
• Deliver service that builds customer satisfaction in all facilities.
• Actively support and encourage Primary Support Person (PSP) / Family involvement in patient's care, with consent of patient.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED - Required.
• PBT (ASCP) or Equivalent - Preferred.
• 1-3 Years of Experience as a Phlebotomist in a Healthcare/Medical Setting - Preferred.
• BLS Certification - Required (May be completed during orientation period).
