Estimated Salary: $22,000 - $29,000 per year.

Job Description:
  • Pre-register patients with accurate demographic and financial data, utilizing various methods such as mobile carts.
  • Collect patient balances, co-payments, co-insurance, or other payment types.
  • Verify coverage and ensure all insurance requirements are met, including obtaining prior authorizations and referrals as necessary.
  • Manage daily appointment schedules, including reminder calls and referral follow-ups.
  • Transport patients using escort or wheeled transport equipment.
  • Provide switchboard coverage and manage ED incoming phone calls.
  • Monitor the OB Prosec/McKinley alarm system.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in medical office or customer service settings.
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong background in customer service may be considered in lieu of medical office experience.
  • Effective conflict management and strong interpersonal skills.
