Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Adventure Club Aide. In this role, you will assist with childcare activities, communicate with children, and provide a safe and engaging environment for them to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with activities for children in the Adventure Club program.
  • Aide in communication between children and program staff.
  • Provide a varied and interesting environment, including maintaining supplies for activities.
  • Aide children with questions and inquiries.

Requirements:
  • General knowledge of childcare practices and techniques.
  • Ability to work with children and establish and maintain standards of behavior.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, staff, and students.

Physical Requirements:
  • Occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force.
  • Frequent speaking or hearing and using hands to finger, handle or feel.
  • Occasional standing, walking, sitting, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms, pushing or pulling, lifting and repetitive motions.

Special Requirements:
  • Must enjoy working, watching, and interacting with children.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
  • Must be in good academic standing if a student.
