Position Title: Housekeeper

Company: Vitality Senior Living

Location: Allen, TX

Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday, with Monday and Tuesday off.

Sign-On Bonus: Eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus, distributed in two installments at specified intervals of service completion.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in resident suites and communal areas.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Compliance with state or provincial health regulations.
  • Maintain necessary certifications as mandated by local regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cleaning resident suites as per the established schedule, which includes:

  • Vacuuming carpets and performing spot cleaning as needed.
  • Cleaning ceilings and walls, including the removal of cobwebs.
  • Dusting furniture, shelves, light fixtures, and other surfaces.
  • Thoroughly cleaning bathrooms, including all fixtures and floors.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in kitchenettes, including all surfaces and appliances.
  • Managing waste disposal and laundry of used linens and towels.
  • Replacing bed linens and towels as required.
  • Cleaning windows as necessary.

Assisting with the Annual Suite Service for resident suites as scheduled.

Cleaning community common areas, which includes:

  • Vacuuming and mopping floors.
  • Dusting and cleaning various surfaces.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in restrooms.
  • Managing waste disposal and window cleaning as needed.

Conducting deep cleaning of community common areas according to the established schedule.

Performing additional tasks as assigned by the Property Services Director.
