Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to support our transportation infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design and analysis, with experience working on large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee design development and project deliverables for new and rehabilitation of existing transportation building infrastructure.
  • Perform and lead various design projects under Design/Build and Design/Bid/Build environment.
  • Mentor and monitor work by other structural engineers. Perform quality control and quality assurance checks on deliverables.
  • Client coordination including coordinating deliveries, submittals, meeting, review comments etc.
Requirements
  • Licensed or ability to obtain the Professional Engineer license in the States of NY and NJ.
  • Proficiency in STAAD, CSI, SAP, RAM, ETABS and other structural analysis and design software.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and MicroStation.
  • Thorough understanding of design codes and agency standards such as NYSBC, NYCBC, ASCE, AISC and ACI.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills are essential to meet the expectations of this challenging position.

Work Environment
