Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Kellanova. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant's mechanical and electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
- Equipment Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with mechanical and electrical equipment, using your knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and repair methods.
- Performance Efficiency: Monitor and optimize equipment performance, making adjustments as needed to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Skills: Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and demonstrated knowledge of behavior-based safety systems.
- Physical Demands: Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, and complete repetitive physical tasks throughout the day, including occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
