Location: El Centro, CA
Job Summary: Under direct supervision, the Janitor is responsible for the thorough cleaning and upkeep of facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties in accordance with established health and safety standards.
- Conduct daily inspections of the facility and surrounding areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Assist in the stocking and collection of cleaning supplies.
- Manage weekly inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment necessary for sanitation.
- Receive and store cleaning supplies, adhering to appropriate housekeeping protocols.
- Ensure proper handling and accountability of chemicals and hazardous materials in line with safety regulations.
- Maintain a safe working environment through ongoing safety training.
- Perform minor repairs as needed.
- Maintain the exterior grounds, including landscaping and waste removal.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent certification.
- Preferred experience with industrial cleaning equipment and knowledge of janitorial practices.
- Good physical condition is essential.
- Possession of a valid state driver's license may be required.
- Must demonstrate maturity, flexibility, and the ability to earn respect from both staff and clients.
- Must be a United States citizen and at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation as mandated.
