Job Summary

Daher, a leading aircraft manufacturer and industry equipment supplier, seeks a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to join its team. As an Aircraft Manufacturing Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and installing aircraft sheet metal and composite components.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and install aircraft sheet metal and composite components
  • Use precision measuring devices, such as micrometers, ball gauges, and dial calipers
  • Maintain documented records of work accomplished
  • Work from and to manufacturing specifications and procedures
  • Demonstrate the ability to pull/query from manufacturing execution systems (MES) and material execution systems (MEDS)
  • Adhere to quality procedures and instructions
  • Notify supervision of malfunctions, defects, and damages
  • Keep work areas clean, neat, and orderly
  • Perform visual and functional inspections to ensure product meets requirements and specifications
  • Adhere to company policies and safety programs
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Accredited GED
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Physical Requirements: lifting, climbing, grasping, holding, standing, bending, stooping, and ability to work overhead
  • Ability to read and speak English proficiently
