Correctional Medicine Specialist

TK Health is a leading provider of correctional healthcare services. We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Tangipahoa Parish Jail in Amite City, Louisiana.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing primary healthcare services to inmates, including performing health assessments, developing care plans, and administering medications and immunizations as needed. They will also conduct mental health screenings, provide counseling, and respond to medical emergencies.

To be eligible for this role, applicants must possess a FNP (Required) certification and have excellent clinical skills. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced correctional environment is essential, and prior experience in correctional healthcare is highly desirable.
