Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new mechanical designs for aircraft cabin interiors, including cabin areas, PSU, placards, floor covering, and emergency equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical systems meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Design, modify, and control mechanical systems, including researching and analyzing design documents and creating technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including guidelines, work instructions, and presentations.
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Contribute to the development of internal processes and procedures to optimize mechanical system design and development.

Requirements

  • Completed engineering studies in a relevant field, such as mechanics or aircraft construction.
  • Relevant experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in the aircraft industry.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD systems, such as CATIA V5 or EHI.
  • Knowledge of cabin interior design and aircraft construction principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Business fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with aircraft cabin design, particularly with a focus on ATA25.
  • Knowledge of aviation law and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
