Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust security architectures for cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
  • Document all implementations meticulously through technical documentation and operational run-books.
  • Provide insightful feedback and recommendations on security architecture strategies.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) offerings and capabilities.
  • Demonstrate expertise in systems automation technologies and platforms.
  • Act as a representative for the Security Platform in the development of the overall global cloud enterprise architecture.
  • Engage with stakeholders through presentations and collaborative planning sessions.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, coupled with a minimum of 5 years in a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Security Architecture or Engineering.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience with AWS.
  • Preferred: 5 years of experience in building and deploying solutions using Continuous Integration and Delivery methodologies.
  • Proven experience in architecting solutions within AWS.
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as VPC Networking, IAM, KMS, CloudFormation, EC2, API Gateway, Kubernetes, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, RDS, DynamoDB, and Lambda.
  • Expertise in infrastructure-as-code solutions across the enterprise.
  • Proficient in using tools like Stash, Git, Nexus, Jenkins, Gradle, Groovy, YML, and AWS security features (WAF, GuardDuty, Security Groups, IAM, etc.).
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, JSON, Ruby, C#, PowerShell, and YAML.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Familiarity with deployment orchestration and automation tools (Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible).
  • Experience with enterprise applications, including architecture, development, support, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to apply software development and testing knowledge to address various challenges.
  • Experience in the assessment, development, implementation, and optimization of security technologies and processes across cloud environments.
  • Understanding of industry-standard cloud-native authentication mechanisms.
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture for cloud services.
  • Familiarity with cloud security and governance tools, CASBs, and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience in threat modeling and design reviews to evaluate security implications of new technologies.
  • Ability to communicate technical viewpoints effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Technical writing experience is a plus.
