Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $37,280.75 to $43,968.62, depending on the level of experience and education. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive full state employee benefits.

Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate professionals to join our team as Child Welfare Specialists. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating allegations of child abuse or neglect, providing services to help families overcome barriers, and working with clients to develop treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate allegations of child abuse or neglect, and provide services to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
  • Work with families to identify and address barriers that may be putting their children at risk.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to help families achieve their goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of child welfare principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Depending on the level of experience and education, requirements may include completion of 90 hours of college credit, three years of experience in child welfare, or a combination of education and experience.
