Gastroenterology Physician Assistant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Gastroenterology Physician Assistant to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a Gastroenterology Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
About the Role:- Provide medical care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
- Collaborate with gastroenterologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct routine check-ups, perform diagnostic tests, and interpret results to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and excellent patient outcomes.
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or eligible for certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in a gastroenterology setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong clinical skills, with the ability to diagnose and manage complex medical conditions.
