  • Category Expertise: Maintain deep expertise of operations that are being outsourced to the tail spend provider, ensuring optimal category management and procurement practices.
  • Strategy Development: Oversee the coordination and incorporation of category strategies and playbooks in partnership with Sourcing and Procurement teams, driving business growth and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a technical major or business concentration.
  • Experience: 10 years indirect sourcing, procurement, or category management experience, with a strong background in tail spend management.
  • Skills: Highly proficient in analytics, negotiations, program management, and communications, with a strong ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Tail Spend Expertise: 5+ years of tail spend management expertise, with a strong understanding of tail spend solutions and vendor management.
  • Industry Experience: 5+ years working at a firm that provides tail spend solutions, with a strong understanding of the industry and market trends.
  • Advanced Degree: MBA or equivalent advanced degree, with a strong background in business and management.
