Position Overview

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This includes:

  • Performing various cardiac procedures
  • Monitoring patients during and after procedures
  • Administering medications as required
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Active Illinois RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Experience in interventional cardiac procedures
  • Proficiency in Cerner charting

Additional Information:

  • Willingness to float to other units as needed
  • First-time travelers are welcome
  • Weekend shifts may be required
  • COVID-19 vaccination is not mandatory, but flu vaccination is required with exemptions considered
