Key Responsibilities:
A Personal Care Assistant plays a crucial role in our home health care team, providing essential support to clients according to personalized care plans developed by our skilled Registered Nurse Supervisor. Services are delivered in the client's home, under the guidance of our dedicated RN Supervisor, Home Care Field Supervisor, and/or Staff Coordinator.
Your Duties Will Include:
- Addressing clients' non-medical needs while promoting companionship and social engagement
- Assisting with daily living activities and personal care tasks such as bathing and grooming
- Helping with light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, and medication reminders
- Establishing strong, trusting relationships with clients, their families, and team members
- Providing consistent and reliable care by being punctual and fulfilling scheduled shifts
Qualifications:
- Completion of the agency's hiring process
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Physical ability to perform job responsibilities
- Exhibiting mature and responsible behavior, with a focus on client confidentiality
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension)
- Ability to follow instructions and promptly report any changes in client conditions to the RN Supervisor
- Access to reliable transportation for commuting to assignments
