Job Description:
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients in their homes. Your primary responsibility will be to assess clients' needs, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and educate patients and their families on how to manage daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess client's performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL)
  • Select and adapt occupational therapy treatment models and approaches to meet individual needs
  • Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and train clients on its use
  • Observe, note, and report on progress of long- and short-term treatment goals

Requirements:
  • COTA certification required
  • Home care or rehab experience preferred
  • Proven working experience as Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
  • Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of Occupational Therapy
