Certified Recovery Support Specialist

Reporting To:

Program Director

Position Summary:
  • Assist individuals in their recovery journey by motivating them to set and pursue personal objectives.
  • Lead group discussions and offer tailored support to participants.
  • Foster an environment of recovery and optimism.
  • Champion the rights of members and encourage self-advocacy skills.
  • Work collaboratively with the treatment team and play a role in developing member care plans.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma is mandatory; a Bachelor's degree is advantageous.
  • Completion of Certified Peer Specialist/Certified Recovery Specialist training within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Ongoing maintenance of certification is required throughout employment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Self-driven with a constructive attitude.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
