Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Technologist to join our team at Saint Marys Regional Medical Center. As a CVOR Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, operating medical equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment.

Responsibilities
  • Certification and Licensure
    • ACLS - American Heart Association certification required, with front and signed back copies of certification
    • BLS - American Heart Association certification required, with front and signed back copies of certification
    • ENPC is acceptable in lieu of PALS
    • ENPC - American Heart Association certification required, with front and signed back copies of certification
    • American Heart Association certification only; NALS is also acceptable
    • Proof of current license
    • Primary Source Verification required within 30 days
    • IV Certification (LVN/LPN)
    • FIRE CARD (LA City facilities only - EHMC & SOH)
    • MAB is required for ER and Psych
    • Preferred but not required for ER, ICU, CCU, Neuro, and Tele
    • Sonographer - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) Certificate
  • Job Details
    • PHS-1491 Should be well-versed in robots ortho general gyn urology spine as well as CABG valve replacement & dissection repair. They will be working in the general OR when there are no CVOR cases.
    • Call requirement is one weeknight per week and three weekend nights per month.
  • Additional Requirements
    • Required - Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification
