About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Team Lead to join our team at Edwards Vacuum. As a key member of our Service and Sales organization, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Edwards equipment installed onsite.
  • Provide project engineering/management support for new projects proposals and upgrade programs.
  • Provide expert technical support/first level of escalation for the site team and training for the on-site service team.
  • Work closely with the technical support team and PCs to ensure that NPI, CIP projects receive the appropriate field input and the local site team(s) have the training, procedures, and parts needed for CIPs and NPIs.
  • Develop local work instructions and procedures as required to support installation, maintenance, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Lead on-site regularly scheduled technical meetings to ensure that the site team is aware of all technical issues and lesson learned.
  • Work with the team lead and site manager to ensure 7x24 escalation support for the site team.
Requirements
  • AS degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field, or 4+ years' related technical experience.
  • 5 years related industry experience including the completion of relevant training and competencies profiles defined within the training plan for the current position.
  • Electronic, mechanical, chemical, or gas in the Semiconductor industry is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to learn how to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams, and understand defined specifications.
  • Proficient computer skills, including thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to set priorities, follow instructions, and exercise independent judgment when appropriate.
  • Excellent organization, prioritizing, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must be capable of exercising independent judgment, work with minimal or no supervision.
  • Must possess good written and oral presentation skills.
  • Possess excellent customer interfacing presence, and must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have a positive attitude, be energetic and enthusiastic, and possess a strong willingness to learn and a commitment to excellence.
