About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Thoracic Surgery team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing thoracic surgery, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
  • Experience in thoracic surgery or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
