Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Associate to join our team at KWIK FILL. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our truck plaza, including the store, parking lots, and adjacent buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairing, and replacing equipment and fixtures.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain the store in accordance with company policies and Health Department regulations, including cleaning, stocking, and rotating merchandise.
  • Parking Lot Maintenance: Sweep and clean parking lots, empty trash cans, and perform other tasks as needed to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Restroom Maintenance: Clean and maintain restrooms, including replacing ceiling tiles and performing other tasks as needed.
  • Security and Safety: Follow all security and safety policies and procedures, including being alert to potential safety issues and taking corrective action as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Prior custodial/maintenance experience preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Ability to multi-task, organizational and communication skills, and knowledge of mechanical workings of showers, faucets, and general maintenance functions.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires working in a typical retail convenience store/truck plaza setting. The incumbent must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, twist, stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods, and work on ladders.
