Job Summary

Sun River Health is seeking a part-time Psychotherapist to join our team at the A31 HUB Health Center. As a Psychotherapist, you will provide specialized knowledge and skills for psychiatric and mental health evaluation, assessment, and management of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychotherapy for patients
  • Conduct psychosocial evaluations for patients
  • Collaborate with psych NPs, psychiatrist, and other medical staff to manage patient care
  • Assess the multidimensional needs of patients and develop and implement care plans
  • Function as a patient advocate, participating in clinical meetings, patient care conferences, and informal discussions with healthcare and mental health program staff
  • Provide patient education relative to psychiatric mental health issues
  • Prepare written reports and care coordination as needed
  • Attend and participate in continuing educational programs, seminars, etc., designated to maintain professional competence
Requirements
  • Master's Degree (MSW or MHC)
  • NYS Licensure LCSW, LMSW, or LMHC
  • At least 2 years' experience in psychiatric mental health care of persons with HIV/AIDS
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
