Hair Stylist

Job Summary

As a Hair Stylist - Casual Position at Marriott International, you will provide exceptional hair care services to our guests. This role requires a high level of skill and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for delivering personalized experiences that exceed our guests' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hair care services such as cut/design, color, and styling to guests.
• Examine skin, hair, or nails to evaluate condition, appearance, and appropriateness of scheduled service.
• Determine and advise guests on proper skin, hair, or nail care and recommend home care regimens.
• Promote and sell spa/salon services and retail products.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms.
• Set up workstation and/or treatment room with necessary products, equipment, and supplies to ensure guest comfort and safety.
• Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools.
• Monitor and stick to time schedule throughout the day.
• Handle inappropriate guest behavior by stopping service and informing supervisor/manager.
• Maintain current licensure in service area.

Requirements

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None
