Job Description

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Brighton Hospice, you will work closely with our clinical team to provide patient care. Our hospice care focuses on providing patients with the quality of life they deserve and freedom from pain as they leave this life.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide social interaction and reassurance to patients and families
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, bathroom needs, and physical activity
  • Report changes in patient condition or environment to the attending nurse/RN
  • Support patient teaching and other procedures based on patient plans of care
  • Prepare and submit documentation of observations, findings, and services provided
  • Administer emergency first aid when needed
  • Perform additional, related duties as needed

Qualifications

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

  • Valid CNA certification required
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and transportation in order to travel to patient locations
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to complete patient charting on a daily basis
  • A desire to take the next big step in your career
