Emanouil Brothers, Inc. is a reputable landscape firm that has been family-owned and operated for several decades. We are currently in search of a Senior Fleet Maintenance Technician to manage the upkeep of our diverse fleet of vehicles, diesel machinery, and small engine tools.
This role encompasses all facets of maintenance, repair, and servicing of trucks and equipment. We are looking for a dedicated full-time professional who can commit to working Monday through Friday, with shifts ranging from 8 to 10 hours. Overtime will be compensated at time and a half for any hours exceeding 40 per week. Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and provide their own tools (within reasonable limits). Our equipment includes everything from small engine lawn mowers and trimmers to larger machinery such as skid steers, mini excavators, loaders, and trucks of various sizes.
The responsibilities of the Senior Technician include, but are not limited to, supervising existing personnel, managing hours and budgets, ensuring quality control, and developing preventive maintenance strategies. The current team consists of a small engine mechanic and a general mechanic to assist with trucks and equipment.
The Senior Technician will collaborate with project managers, foremen, and the operations manager to prioritize repair tasks, meet deadlines, and determine whether equipment should be serviced in-house or sent out for repairs.
Compensation: Salary will range from $35 to $45 per hour, depending on the candidate's skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate necessary repairs on trucks and equipment.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely repairs and servicing.
- Order parts required for equipment repairs.
- Collaborate with the current team to execute repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment repairs and logs.
- Ensure the workshop is clean and organized.
Qualifications:
- Proficient mechanical skills for working on small engines, trucks, and diesel equipment.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work alongside other mechanics and operations staff.
- Possess personal tools for equipment repair.
