Position Summary
- Provides assistance to elderly, disabled, or recovering individuals in their own residences or during daytime care.
Key Responsibilities
- Supports daily living activities within the client's home environment.
- Engages in tasks such as making beds, laundry, meal preparation, dishwashing, cleaning, bathing, and dressing.
- Shops for and prepares meals and groceries tailored to individual needs.
- Assists clients with mobility, including navigating stairs and transitioning in and out of bed.
- Administers prescribed oral medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Accompanies clients on outings outside the home.
- Provides companionship through conversation, reading, and attentive listening as requested.
- Visits multiple households to deliver consistent daily care.
- Informs family members about the health and status of the individual receiving care.
- *The organization retains the right to modify or expand job duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: Certification as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related field.
