Overview

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Rowan Medical Center in the Salisbury area. This is an excellent opportunity for new grads, experienced professionals, or military-trained individuals to advance their careers in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of a surgeon and registered nurse to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.
  • Ensure the operating room environment is safe, equipment functions properly, and the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to provide exceptional patient care and support.
  • Participate in sterile processing and maintain a clean and organized operating room environment.
Qualifications
  • High School or GED required.
  • Graduate of a School of Surgical Technology or Military Training Equivalent (68D Operating Room Specialist).
  • Previous Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
  • Current Surgical Tech certification preferred.
