We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Perianesthesia team at Saint Luke's East in Lee's Summit. As a PACU RN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients with various conditions and acuity levels undergoing procedures such as orthopedics, total joints, sports medicine, GYN, urology, plastics, general surgery, ophthalmology, and spine.
- Utilize the nursing process to coordinate patient care and consult with other healthcare team members as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform patient care tasks, delegate tasks to other patient care staff, and supervise patient care activities.
- Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consult with other members of the healthcare team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
- Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
