Elementary School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team at an elementary school. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on young learners by helping them develop their communication skills.

About the Role:

This position requires a minimum of 1+ years of speech therapy experience. The successful candidate will conduct assessments and evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services to students. Collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals is essential to ensure a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to meet each student's unique needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive educational approach.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy approaches as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  2. Current state licensure and certification.
  3. Experience working in a school setting is highly valued.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively within a school team.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year based on location and experience.
