Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Regency Integrated Health Services. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in ensuring the provision of quality care that promotes the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychological well-being of each resident.
- Observe, assess, document, and report resident condition/changes during rounds.
- Administer medications as prescribed and conduct rounds with physicians to record visits in clinical records.
- Perform narcotic reconciliation with incoming and outgoing shifts and identify significant changes in resident condition.
- Oversee and monitor aides, initiate and complete Incident and Accident Reports, and discharge residents per facility policy.
- Communicate with resident's point of contact regarding status updates or changes in condition.
- Active Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of Texas in good standing.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
