Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Bakery Associate to join our team at Kowalski's Markets. As a Bakery Associate, you'll have the opportunity to learn the intricacies of a grocer's bakery, including time management, food handling, and customer service. Our bakery is dedicated to preparing a wide range of delicious desserts and savory baked goods, offering our customers plenty of options to choose from.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with coworkers and customers through transparent and respectful communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
  • Follow strict health and safety guidelines to meet our quality standards.
  • Manage time effectively and independently, filling and rotating products, maintaining cleanliness standards, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Participate in extensive, in-person, hands-on training to learn how to perform your job safely, quickly, and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Flexible availability, including variable shifts between 7AM-8PM.
  • Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and holidays.
  • Comfortable speaking to customers in an energetic and helpful manner.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
  • Interest in preparing and handling food, adhering to health codes and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
