Position InformationWe are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Geriatric Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in providing exceptional mental health care for our community. As a Geriatric Psychiatrist at WakeMed, you will work with a diverse patient population and be part of a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed approach to care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive psychiatric consultations within WakeMed Hospital Cary and expand our available outpatient geriatric psychiatry resources.
- Collaborate with other specialties to provide exceptional mental health care.
- Work independently within a multidisciplinary team at WakeMed Hospital Cary.

To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Fellowship/Internship/Residency in a related area.
- Doctorate in Medicine.
- Licensed Medical Physician.
This is a variable schedule position with every fourth weekend requirement and call responsibilities.
