Qualifications

  • Fundamental knowledge of oil and gas processes, with familiarity in ball valves, actuators, and gearboxes being advantageous.

  • Capability to safely lift and transport heavy materials.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying and extreme weather conditions.
  • Excellent time management and mechanical aptitude are essential.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Candidates must reside within a reasonable distance from the work location.
  • Must fulfill the physical demands of the role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Comply with and uphold all relevant company, state, and federal safety and environmental standards.
  • Execute pipeline troubleshooting tasks, including conducting pressure assessments, identifying potential blockages, and managing pigging operations.
  • Address inquiries from pigging teams regarding pipelines that are reported as non-operational and assist in troubleshooting.
  • Conduct minor maintenance on valves, trap doors, actuators, and piping systems.
  • Prepare a weekly summary of all tasks completed during the week.
  • Engage with operations supervisors, field personnel, maintenance staff, truck drivers, clerical workers, producers, operators, landowners, and contractors.
  • Be available for on-call duties to ensure system integrity, maintain acceptable facility operation times, and respond to emergencies outside of regular business hours, which may involve carrying a communication device.
