About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Operations Manager to lead our kitchen team in Bastrop, TX.

Salary: Up to $80,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality culinary dishes are served on schedule and resolving issues promptly. This includes approving all prepared food items leaving the kitchen, modifying and developing new menus as needed, and performing various administrative tasks such as ordering supplies and reporting to the General Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Train and manage kitchen staff
  • Supervise/coordinate all associated culinary activities
  • Evaluate food usage and purchase food accordingly
  • Develop recipes and standardize production recipes
  • Establish presentation technique and quality standards
  • Plan and price menus
  • Maintain proper equipment operation/maintenance
  • Ensure proper safety and sanitation in the kitchen
