**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Engine Repair Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Level Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repair duties, including standard vehicle maintenance, preventive maintenance, and complex mechanical and electronic repairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and diagnose complex problems using diagnostic computers and other tools.
  • Repair or replace defective components as instructed by management or technical manuals.
  • Work independently on most tasks, with minimal supervision.
  • Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints and provide solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Vocational or technical certification in diesel engine repair or a related field is preferred.
  • Basic tools required; three years or more relevant work experience preferred.
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred.
