Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our team at Building & Earth Sciences, Inc. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in construction materials testing and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site testing and inspections of construction materials to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collect and analyze samples of construction materials to determine their properties and characteristics.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports of testing and inspection results to clients and project managers.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve any testing or inspection issues that may arise during construction.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of construction materials testing procedures and protocols.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as civil engineering or materials science.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in construction materials testing and inspection.
  • ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Level I certification.
  • Portable Nuclear Gauge Safety Training Certification.
  • Strong understanding of Proctor Compaction Test and USCS Soil Classification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent travel to construction sites, often in remote or rugged locations. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
