We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team at Barracuda Staffing & Consulting. As a Glass Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing glass windows, patio doors, and other glass-related products in residential properties.
Key Responsibilities- Cutting and Installing Glass: Cut single-strength glass at customer homes to install, ensuring a precise fit and a high-quality finish.
- Working with a Team: Work one-on-one with a lead teammate or residential manager until fully trained, developing strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Installation and Removal: Install or remove custom-made mirrors in homes, and assist the truck lead with installing shower enclosures and mirrors.
- Operating a Company Vehicle: Safely operate a company vehicle to transport equipment and materials to job sites.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license to operate a company vehicle.
- Attention to Detail: Must be able to read and follow written instructions, and have a keen eye for detail to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Mechanical Skills: Must be mechanically inclined and able to use a tape measure to ensure accurate measurements.
- Hand Tools: Must have their own hand tools to perform tasks efficiently.
- Carpentry and Construction Experience: Prior carpentry and/or construction experience is required to succeed in this role.
- Teamwork and Communication: Must be able to work well with others, have a cheerful disposition, and provide top-quality service to customers.
