Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various types of medical imaging equipment, including ultrasound, MRI, and CT scanners.
  • Position patients for optimal image quality and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient images and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
  • 1-2 years of experience in medical imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
