Job Overview

At Hand & Stone - Kent & University Place, we're seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional massage therapy services to our clients, promoting relaxation, and improving overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treatment Planning: Design personalized treatment plans based on clients' individual needs, taking into account their medical history, preferences, and goals.
  • Client Experience: Create a welcoming and professional atmosphere, ensuring clients feel comfortable and relaxed throughout their visit.
  • Client Acquisition: Promote member referrals and memberships, generating new clientele and driving business growth.
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of therapy rooms and common areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for clients and staff.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Must adhere to state licensing laws and regulations, maintaining current licensure and certification.
  • Liability Insurance: Must carry liability insurance, ensuring protection for clients and the company.
  • Communication: Must be able to effectively communicate with clients, spa management, and staff, ensuring seamless interactions and exceptional service.
  • Modalities: Knowledge of Swedish Massage is required, while knowledge of other modalities (Trigger Point, Pre-Natal, Deep Tissue) is preferred but not necessary. Hand and Stone offers training in all modalities to our team members.
